Training & Support

Why does SIZA offer training?

Regular training and awareness of labour and environmental law requirements and the SIZA social/ethical standards are essential to maintaining a sustainable and responsible business. A growing need exists for all agribusinesses to understand what is required and have the necessary skills to implement such requirements to enable them to access all markets.  SIZA also aims to assist suppliers with a comprehensive toolkit supporting compliance requirements.

SIZA workshops are presented through interactive webinars and in-person training in all provinces.

These trainings help attendees better understand the SIZA standards, methodology, market requirements, and audit process. Although a dedicated person or consultant can assist with implementation, it is important that senior management or owners also attend the training to understand the requirements and the reasons behind specific implementation methods better.
