The SIZA Digital Recordkeeping Programme is integrated as part of the MySIZA platform and is available to all businesses, both locally and internationally. The programme is offered to SIZA subscribers at an annual cost of R500 (excl VAT) regardless of how many sites or commodities are included in the account. For new subscribers who are not registered for SIZA Social or Environmental modules, the programme is offered at an annual cost of R1 500 (Excl VAT). As there is overlap between the data captured in the SIZA Digital Recordkeeping Programme and the information required for a carbon footprint calculation, SIZA avoids duplication by integrating with approved GHG specialist companies such as Confronting Climate Change. The Digital Recordkeeping data can optionally be annualised and sent to the selected third-party GHG Specialist company in order to be used to calculate a Carbon Footprint. The full Carbon Footprint report is integrated into the SIZA Annual PDF reports for ease of access and visibility to markets.
To maintain credibility to markets, this calculation is done independently from SIZA and may carry an additional fee from the Third-party GHG Specialist.
